Before you start, do the following:
Move the cantilever with the print platform up (Menu -> Control -> Home platform). You will need more free space for manipulation in the following steps.
Open the orange acrylic cover and remove the print platform.
Remove the resin tank. If you have resin inside, pour it back into the bottle.
Turn the printer off and unplug it.
Remove the USB drive, if connected.

Attention!!! Proceed very carefully with these screws, use an Allen key with straight sharp edges as there is a risk of stripping the screw's head.
Turn the left side of the printer towards you.
4本のネジを探して緩め、取り外します。
Turn the printer 180° and remove the last four screws on the other side.
Slide the cover just a few cm/inches out.
There are two designs of USB and power button:
NEW DESIGN: The USB and the power button have the same connector. Disconnect the cable and remove the cover completely.
OLD DESIGN: The USB and the power button are separated. Disconnect the power button cable from the extension cable and remove the cover completely.

SL1 units have been shipped with two designs of the print display cable holder. Please take a look closer to and check what version of the plastic parts do you have. Then follow the appropriate steps:
NEW DESIGN: Narrow plastic part attached to the electronics with two screws. Follow Disconnecting the print display (NEW design)
OLD DESIGN: Wider plastic part attached with two screws and slid on the electronics board. Follow Disconnecting the print display (OLD design)

Remove the display cable holder.
GENTLY pull the cable closest to the "silver rectangle" to disconnect the connector from the board. If possible you can use your nails to push the connector out. Don't use any tools like pliers or screwdrivers.
Leave the LCD cable free.

Release and remove two M3x8 screws on the display cable holder (printed part).
Carefully slide up the print display cable holder and remove it from the printer.
GENTLY pull the cable closest to the "silver rectangle" to disconnect the connector from the board. If possible you can use your nails to push the connector out. Don't use any tools like pliers or screwdrivers.
Leave the LCD cable free. We need to release some other screws before we can remove the display.

Using the 2.5mm Allen key remove ten M4x14b screws holding the display assembly. Proceed carefully as you might strip the screw.
Do not throw away the screws! We will re-use four of them later on.
Using your index finger push the display assembly up from below on the right side of the printer.
Carefully remove the print display.
Disconnecting the resin sensor cable

Disconnecting the resin sensor cable
Look from the left side of the printer into the electronics compartment.
Disconnect the resin sensor cable from the electronics.
There is a safety lock latch on the bottom side of the connector. Do not pull the cable before pressing the lock latch.
On some older units, the cable may have a different color. However, the procedure is the same.

Removing the resin sensor
Cut the resin sensor cable closer to the connector on the tilt frame.
Before you start cutting, DOUBLE-CHECK you have selected the resin sensor cable!
Pull the rest of the cable out of the bundle.
Release the M4x6r screw and remove the resin sensor with the M4w serrated lock washer. Do not throw away the screw and the washer! You will need them later on.
The screw is firmly tightened. Use the shorter side of the Allen key for easier release.
No need to cut any zip ties. We will lead the new resin sensor cable separately using a different path.

Removing the blower fan assembly
Removing the blower fan assembly
Removing the blower fan assembly
The blower fan is part of an assembly (fan, metal sheet, printed part). Let's remove it as one piece and disassemble it in parts later on.
Release the first screw on the support.
Hold the blower fan assembly with one hand.
Use the other hand to release the second screw on the support.
Remove the blower fan assembly and place it next to the printer, like in the picture. Do not pull the cable!
If the assembly does not reach a sufficient distance, try moving the zip tie to the right. If it's too tight, cut the zip tie (pliers from the SL1 kit, needle-nose pliers, nail scissors). Be careful not to cut the cables!
Removing blower
Removing blower
Release and remove two M3x5 screws from the front side.
Remove the blower (printed part), we will no longer need it.
Do not disconnect the fan. Leave it in place during the assembly.
Removing the reflector

Removing the reflector
Loosen the right screw fixing the reflector inside the printer. No need to remove the screw. We will remove it together with the reflector later.
Look from above through the display hole and using the long 3mm Allen key release the left screw fixing the reflector. No need to remove the screw.
Hold the reflector in your hand and carefully pull it out of the printer through the display hole. The screws may be pulled out together with the reflector.

Removing the UV LED assembly
Disconnect the UV LED cable connector.
The UV LED cable may differ. It depends on the printer version. However, both of its connectors are the same in all versions.
ディスプレイの穴を通して上から見てください。2mmの六角レンチを使い、ヒートシンクの4本のネジを外します。
Push the UV LED cable through the gap below the electronics inside the printer.
Carefully remove the UV LED set with the cable from the printer.
Removing the UV LED cable
Removing the UV LED cable
Disconnect the UV LED cable from the LED array board. There is a safety latch on the connector. Lift the latch and disconnect the connector. Be careful, not to break the latch.
If the latch is hard to lift, try pressing the connector in first to release the latch.
Some connectors can be very difficult to remove. Use more force, but be careful not to hurt yourself.
Do not throw the cable away. We will need it later.
You will no longer need the UV LED board with the heatsink.
Disconnecting the PSU
Disconnecting the PSU
Disconnect the black and white cable from the PSU. Do not disconnect the cable from the electronics board and!
There are two color variants of this cable. Your printer may have a black-and-white or black-and-red cable. However, their function is the same.
Disconnect the power cable from the PSU. Do not disconnect the cable from the electronics board!

Removing the PSU
There are three recessed screws in the PSU case securing the PSU to the backplate. Release them in the following order:
Release the recessed screw on the right side of the PSU, under the power cable connector.
Release the recessed screw on the left side of the PSU. Note that there is one more screw above. Don't loosen this one.
Release the recessed screw at the bottom of the PSU.
Removing the PSU
Removing the PSU
Slightly lift and pull the PSU out of the backplate and remove it from the printer. Do not throw the part away. Keep it for your other projects.
You will no longer need this part.
Dissasembly is finished!
Dissasembly is finished!
Before proceeding to the next chapter, make sure that the printer is clean from the outside as well as from the inside. This means there is no spilled resin or hardened resin, remove dust and any grease.
We are done with the disassembly!
Keep the UV LED cable and all the removed fasteners from this chapter, we will use them soon while installing the new parts of the SL1S upgrade.
Checked everything? Let's move to the next chapter: 3. Upgrading to SL1S SPEED
