⬢This manual is for the Enclosure without the external printer display mount, as the required parts are no longer included in the package (from the end of May 2024).

⬢To mount the display externally, print the required parts first and then follow the appropriate assembly manual: Original Prusa Enclosure (external display mount)

⬢Required Parts for external display mount:

⬢MK3S+: ENCLOSURE LCD SUPPORT LEFT, RIGHT

⬢MK4/S, MK3.9/S, MK3.5/S: ENCLOSURE XLCD SUPPORT LEFT, RIGHT - for the MK4/S, you need to check A or B version according the MK4 assembly manual.

It would help if the pros and cons of installing the display inside or outside the enclosure were given. How much is the lifespan of the display reduced if it is installed inside especially if you print materials that require high bed temperatures

I have received from Support and would like to share: Both the xLCD and the xBuddy board can be inside the Enclosure, we recommend assembling the xLCD outside mostly for easier access to the printer without needing to open the Enclosure doors. The working temperature of the printer is 38°C, this includes the electronics. If you expect to print materials that need higher temperatures and could make the temperature inside of the enclosure higher, you could consider purchasing a filtration/ventilation system but the xBuddy should be protected inside the metal case.
